The Atomic Backland 107 provides a lightweight chassis with the attitude of a real all-mountain ski. Oftentimes a dedicated lightweight touring ski can leave something to be desired in terms of their ability to handle aggressive skiing in off-piste terrain. They often lack the power and stability that an all-mountain ski would provide. Not the Backland 107. A powerful wood core and a generous amount of camber provide a lot of stability and give the ski an energetic feel despite its lightweight build and wider waist. Pair that with a directional rocker profile and Atomic's HRZN Tip Technology and you get a really well-rounded powder ski. Coming in at around 1500 grams per ski, the Backland 107 remains very efficient for those long climbs. Who wants to feel defeated at the top of a run before even starting your descent? Pair this ski with an Atomic shift and you have a phenomenal lightweight touring setup that provides the confidence and power of a more traditional alpine setup you would use on the resort. By the same token, you could absolutely use this as a resort ski for deeper days. Not all of us want a super heavy and stiff all-mountain ski with two sheets of metal. Sometimes that's just too much work! The Backland would be a fantastic soft snow weapon of choice for skiers who want a light ski to conquer their home resort.

Features:

Sidecut: 137/107/124 at 182 centimeters
Radius: 18.5 meters at 182 centimeters
Dura Cap Sidewall
HRZN Tech Tip
Ultra Power Wood Core
Carbon Backbone
